Temp resets to 350 every time we open the oven door.

Purchased from Home Depot. The stove top works fine but the oven is faulty. It continues to reset the oven temperature to the default (350 degrees). We'll preheat to a higher temp (400l 425, 550 - whatever) and it WILL get to that temp. But if you open the oven door for a few seconds (put something in, test the done-ness, etc) the temp automatically resets to 350 degrees and the oven slowly cools down to that temp! We have to constantly be checking the temperature of the oven - and reset the temp to our disired temperature.Very upset.

Its a good stove overall. It seems to run hot when the burners have been on for a few minutes, where Medium setting is more like Medium Hot. The oven door doesn't stay open a few inches the way it should when using the broiler. You have to open it a lot for it to stay open. The instructions for the timer are wrong in the manual. You have to hit the timer button to start it and to stop.
