I purchased this small freezer as a backup and overflow freezer. Although it works great for that we have found that as just a general freezer it is easier to access frozen goods than items in our main big freezer. And, this little guy is not in the way at all.

I have wanted a standalone freezer as a backup for extra food storage space. This is the perfect size. It can pack a lot of food items and still light enough to move around. It is quiet and efficient. The only thing is I do need to remember to label the dates so that it is easier to manage and rotate food items.

This freezer seems to be working well. We finally have plenty of space for all our food without jamming into the bottom freezer attached to our refrigerator. Also we found out this freezer keeps frozen food totally frozen instead of being defrosted partially when the defrost cycles on the refrigerator! So our frozen food lasts longer.

A very affordable freezer! Surprisingly light, I was able to load, unload this freezer in my small suv as well as carry it in the house and into the basement by myself! left it sit for 24 hours, unpacked it and plugged it in and at first thought it was not working but it turns out it makes zero noise (cant hear a thing even in a dead quiet room) nor does it vibrate or move in any way! Honestly you cant hear or feel anything while it's running! At first I put a gallon of water in just to make sure it was working correctly and after a couple hours it was slushy and the next morning it was frozen solid! works perfect and according to the yellow energy use tag inside the freezer it only uses $26 a year in electric and after a couple months I haven't had any problems or noticed any difference in my electric bill! Great product!

Our freezer is working well, the only complaint is that the basket is not very sturdy. I wouldn't put anything overly heavy in it.

Placed in our hot Florida garage and opened at least a couple times a day, our 1986 model of the 5 cu ft freezer has been working non-stop for 35 yrs ! After turning it off to defrost itwe hold our breath that it will come back on when we plug it back in.Working like a charm !

This is my first personal freezer and I must say, I am very happy with it.It is very quiet and I haven't heard it running for more than 5 to 7 minutes at a time, even after opening the lid so, I'm glad it is efficient on energy consumption.I have enjoyed Frigidaire products previously and this one doesn't disappoint.Thank you!

Very happy with our new chest freezer. We were looking for something small to put in our garage. This fits perfectly in the allotted area. The sale price was very good. All in all very happy. The only thing I would have liked was a couple racks in the large freezer area. There is a top rack which is great. A light would have been. I™™ve, but fortunately I have a light right over it, so no worries. As for delivery, it was fast and the delivery drivers were awesome. They unpacked and set it up in no time at all.
